Welcome to POSVERSE! This guide will walk you through setting up your first restaurant in the system.


Getting Started


Before you begin, make sure you have:

Your restaurant's basic information ready
Business license details
Tax information
Payment processing preferences

Step 1: Create Your Account


1. Navigate to the signup page

2. Enter your email address and create a password

3. Verify your email address

4. Complete your profile information


Step 2: Add Restaurant Details


Once logged in, you'll be prompted to add your restaurant information:


Basic Information:

Restaurant name
Address and location
Phone number
Email address
Business hours

Settings:

Time zone
Currency
Tax rates
Service charges (if applicable)

Step 3: Configure Payment Methods


Set up your payment processing:

Connect your payment gateway
Configure accepted payment types
Set up tip handling
Configure receipt settings

Step 4: Set Up Your First Menu


Before you can process orders, you need to add menu items:

Create categories (e.g., Appetizers, Main Courses, Desserts)
Add menu items with prices
Upload images (optional but recommended)
Set up modifiers (sizes, add-ons, etc.)

Step 5: Add Staff Members


Create accounts for your team:

Add staff members
Assign roles and permissions
Set up schedules
Configure access levels

Once your restaurant is set up:

Train your staff on the system

Review your settings
